How we charge
Once payments are on
Payments in the app aren't switched on yet. Until they are, nothing is charged, held or released through RequestX for your job.

$10 job: $3 fee (minimum), you pay $13. Helper keeps $10.
Helpers never pay a fee.
Where the money will go: it's held when you hire, then released to the helper after the job is complete. The 13% (minimum $3) runs RequestX (support, payments and safety tools).
Safety basics
- In an emergency, call 911 first. RequestX can't send help to you.
- No background checks. RequestX doesn't run background checks. Read profiles and ask questions in the chat before you hire.
- Private chat, general area only. Talk in the job chat. Profiles show a general area, never a street address.
- Read the profile. Look at completed jobs and thumbs up or down from real jobs.
- Something wrong? Tap Get help with this job and check This is a safety issue. Safety reports come first.

Who are the helpers?
Local people with a RequestX account who send offers on jobs. They set their own price and choose their jobs. RequestX doesn't run background checks, so read their profile and thumbs before you hire.
What does it cost?
Posting is free. Once payments are on, RequestX will add 13% (minimum $3) on top of job pay: a $100.00 job will be You pay $113.00. Helpers pay nothing.
When does the helper get paid?
Once payments are on, the helper is paid after the job is marked complete.
What if something goes wrong?
Message the other person in the job chat first. If it isn't sorted, tap Get help with this job. For anything about safety, check This is a safety issue and we'll look at it first.
What jobs can't I post?
Repairs of $1,000 or more or that need a permit, child or elder sitting, passenger rides (not available yet), tutoring and lessons (coming later), and a few jobs that are coming soon, like errands, house-sitting and home cleaning.
